Retreat to rest and restore
Join me for a long weekend yoga retreat to get away from your regular routine and give yourself time to rest, restore and rejuvenate with yoga, healthy nourishing food and a chance to connect with nature in beautiful bush surroundings.
Four days and three nights in the heart of the Blue Mountains bushland will allow you to connect with yourself, the beautiful landscape and a group of heart-centred, like-minded people.
Your yoga practice
There’s always a place in my yoga classes for every body, no matter how experienced you are. So…people from all levels of yoga experience are welcome!
The full-sized yoga shala is called Wombat Hall with plenty of space to enjoy different aspects of yoga throughout the weekend, including slow flow, restorative, yoga nidra, meditation and pranayama.
Being on retreat gives you more time to explore new aspects of yoga and your own capabilities. Every session will help you expand your view of what's possible in your yoga practice.
Your nourishment
These few days on retreat are a chance to 'try on' yogic culture and values - to explore spiritual growth, removed from your habitual patterns in daily life.
You'll be nourished with plenty of beautiful, fresh vegetarian food, sourced locally where possible, along with herbal teas and sweet, healthy treats.
If you have special dietary needs be sure to let me know when you book your place.
Note: To align with yogic values, all food will be vegetarian. And, there will be no alcohol served at the sanctuary to stay congruent with the intentions.
Your accommodation
Choose your room based on your desire for privacy, location or budget.
The private cottages are a short stroll from the main house and the yoga shala, so you’ll have lots of privacy and seclusion with beautiful bushland views. Each cottage has an outdoor spa on the private deck, a kitchenette, wood fire, queen-sized bed and ensuite.
Illowra House is the manor house where five unique bedrooms are located along with the kitchen and lounge rooms. All rooms have ensuites.
Prices shown include your yoga retreat package for accommodation, food and all yoga classes.

Retreat location
Maya Sanctuary
548 Blackheath Creek Road
Kanimbla NSW 2790
Maya Sanctuary is a 200 acre sanctuary hidden in the Kanimbla Valley west of the Blue Mountains. This lovely rural area is in the border between Wiradjuri, Darug and Gundungurra lands.
Once you reach Blackheath, it’s a 20 minute drive down Victoria Pass into Hartley Valley, where you’ll drive (with easy directions) along graded roads to the sanctuary entrance.
(Be mindful of the wildlife! I crossed paths with a large kangaroo and a cheeky goanna when I visited!)
